WITH YOU … through a year of growth, change, and new horizons
As 2025 draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a year that has been nothing short of transformative for IP Solved. It’s been a year of building, refining, expanding, and—most importantly—deepening our commitment to the innovators, founders, creatives, and businesses who trust us with their most valuable assets.
From strengthening our team to launching new initiatives, 2025 has been about positioning ourselves to serve clients even better in the years ahead. Here’s a look at what shaped our journey.
Key Moments That Defined 2025
A Year of Strategic Growth and New Alignments
This year marked several important milestones that have strengthened the firm’s foundation and broadened our capabilities. Our recent mergers and strategic partnerships — including the acquisition of Patent & Trade Mark Attorneys Services (PAS) — have expanded our national footprint, enhanced our specialist expertise, and allowed us to deliver even more integrated, commercially focused IP services.
With a strengthened office presence in Melbourne, alongside our existing footprint across Australia, we are now better positioned than ever to support clients nationally and provide the depth and reach required for complex, fast-moving IP challenges.
Welcoming Exceptional New Talent
We also celebrated meaningful team growth, welcoming new attorneys, support staff, and specialists across our divisions. A standout moment was the mid-year arrival of George Griziotis, whose extensive industry experience and practical, commercial approach have added real depth to our advisory capabilities. Every new addition has brought fresh insight and energy, enriching the collaborative way we work and strengthening the care, precision, and responsiveness clients count on.
Leadership Growth — Len Mancini Appointed Director of IP Solved
A significant milestone this year was the appointment of Len Mancini as a Director of IP Solved. Len has long been a driving force in delivering commercially focused, plain-spoken IP guidance to clients across Australia, and his leadership in launching Regional IP has already had a meaningful impact on the regional innovation landscape. His elevation to Director recognises not only his deep technical expertise, but also his commitment to client relationships, team development, and expanding the firm’s reach into emerging sectors. Len’s appointment strengthens our leadership team and positions the firm strongly for continued strategic growth in 2026 and beyond.
Representing IP Solved on the Global Stage — INTA 2025, San Diego
This year also saw Ken McInnes and Lachlan Mullane attend the INTA 2025 Annual Meeting in San Diego, one of the world’s premier gatherings for intellectual property professionals. Their participation strengthened IP Solved’s international connections, opened new collaboration opportunities, and ensured our clients continue to benefit from the latest global insights in trade marks, brand protection, and cross-border IP strategy. Engaging with practitioners, in-house teams, and policy leaders from around the world reinforced our commitment to delivering advice that is globally informed, commercially grounded, and tailored to the evolving needs of Australian innovators.
Introducing Regional IP — A New Chapter
One of our most exciting moments this year was the launch of Regional IP, our dedicated platform for innovators, business owners, and creators across Australia’s regional and rural communities. Regional businesses are powering some of the most exciting developments in agritech, sustainability, manufacturing, and biotech, and this initiative ensures they have the same access to strategic IP protection as their metropolitan counterparts — tailored, practical, and grounded in the realities of operating outside major cities.
A key highlight of the launch phase was seeing Len Mancini and Rebecca Baldwin representing Regional IP at Henty Field Days, along with several other regional events throughout the year. Their conversations with founders, producers, engineers, and local business owners reinforced exactly why Regional IP exists: regional Australia is innovating rapidly, and these communities deserve accessible, commercially focused IP guidance from people who understand their context.
Improving Systems, Processes & Client Experience
Behind the scenes, we invested heavily in smarter systems, workflow improvements, and client communication tools to support efficiency and clarity. These upgrades mean faster turnaround times, sharper strategic alignment, and an even smoother experience from first instructions to final delivery.
Supporting Client Wins Across Industries
Across the year we’ve stood alongside founders, startups, scale-ups, research institutions, multinational brands, and emerging creatives — helping them secure trade marks, patents, and designs, defend their brands, commercialise new technologies, and plan for expansion into Australia and beyond.
Your wins fuel our work, and we’re proud to have played even a small role in each success story.
Celebrating the People Who Make It Possible
The heart of IP Solved has always been its people. Our talented attorneys, administrators, paralegals, and support team show up every day with professionalism, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to doing right by clients. Get to know the team on our new dedicated page on the website, ‘Our People’.
This year also highlighted the strength of our culture: collaborative, human, practical, and deeply aligned with our promise to be WITH YOU — from first idea to global expansion.
To our entire team: thank you. Your efforts matter, and they are seen.
Looking Ahead to 2026
While 2025 was a year of building, 2026 will be a year of acceleration. We’ll continue expanding Regional IP, deepening our presence in key industries, and strengthening the tools, expertise, and partnerships that support clients on their growth journeys.
The pace of innovation isn’t slowing — and neither are we. As markets evolve, technologies shift, and businesses push into new frontiers, IP Solved will continue to deliver clear, practical, commercially focused advice that helps clients move boldly and confidently.
Most importantly, we’re entering 2026 with optimism. There’s more creativity, ingenuity, and entrepreneurial spirit in Australia and the region than ever before — and we’re excited to help protect and empower it.
A Final Message of Thanks
To our clients, partners, colleagues, and supporters: thank you for being part of our story this year. We’re honoured to stand beside you and grateful for the trust you place in us with your brands, inventions, and ideas.
From everyone at IP Solved —
Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and here’s to a bright, innovative, opportunity-filled 2026.
