Ken brings over 40 years of strategic, intellectual property experience, gained both as a partner of Australian IP firms, and as a preferred IP counsel to industry leading companies. As a Director at IP Solved, Ken advises clients across the full spectrum of intellectual property, including patent prosecution and litigation, trade mark enforcement, unfair competition, industrial models, and protection of chemical products and plant varieties. His expertise also covers copyright, designs, technology transfer, portfolio management, and customs strategies, including border enforcement and seizure actions.
Specialising in global intellectual property, Ken is widely regarded as a trusted advisor who develops long-range strategies for Australian companies to protect themselves in the global marketplace and build their portfolio of IP assets by devising global brand strategies. He has been the recipient of many awards throughout his career and was named one of the world's leading 300 intellectual property strategists by Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) - one of the few ranked patent and trade mark attorneys from Australia.
As Head of Client Services, Ken also leads marketing and business development initiatives, and general client growth. He provides internal guidance and strategic expertise to Business Unit Heads, fee earners, support staff and other staff. Ken is also responsible for managing relationships with key clients to ensure client satisfaction, and to best facilitate the global protection, commercialisation, enforcement, and strategic management of their intellectual property.
